Introduction/Setup Description

The EDC Screen is a DRZ screen on a horizontal and vertical stage (both motorized UTS stages).

The screen is imaged via a mirror by a Mako G125-B with a Xmm lens that sits outside of the EDC at a window port.

How to find/view EDC_SCREEN on EPICS

To view on the Matlab GUI:

Main screen → Matlab GUIs → Profile Monitor... → Select EDC_SCREEN from drop-down menu

To change settings like exposure, check status and reboot:

Main screen → Profile Monitor → LI20 → PYDM All Cameras (big green button)


OLD (deprecated as of 2021/08/11):

Main screen → Profile Monitor → LI20 → Dump Cameras

  • To change gain settings, go to Camera... in the Settings column.
  • If camera is not responding or died (green light off), press the Reboot button at the far right of the panel

The camera triggers are the same as for the dump table in general.

How to find the motor controls on EPICS

For motors (XPS controllers)

Main screen → Experimenter

For horizontal motion:

UTS150

Main screen → Experimenter → MC02 (in FCKG20-27), Ch07

OUT/furthest distance to beam axis is at ~120 or so (away from motor). 
This is 150 minus the early stop on the motor.

For vertical motion

UTS100

Main screen → Experimenter → MC03 (in FCKG20-26), Ch05

OUT/furthest distance to beam axis (lowest position) is at 100 (away from motor).
