1. Start the SVT DAQ
Login into the trackersvt with user name tracker:
> ssh tracker@hpstracker
In order to obtain the password, talk to an expert!
2. Start the SVT DAQ
Execute the startup script as follows:
> ./startTrackerGui
This should open 4 new windows:
trackerFullControl: main GUI that controls the SVT
trackerServer: terminal window showing information regarding the
trackerEpics: shows EPICS information (only temperature for now)
3. Start the JLab DAQ (Coda)

Before data can be taken the SVT has to be configured as follows.
Use the trackerFull GUI:
0. Check the status of the power and cooling of the SVT by looking here
1. Hit Hard Reset button, wait about 3s until you see "xxxxx" in the System Status window.
2. Hit Set Default button, wait about 3s until you see "Ready to runxxxxxxx" in the System Status window
3. Hit Load Configuration, this should open up a new window. Select full_tracker.xml and press "Open". Wait ~5s until you see "100/100 APV's synced xxxxxxxxxxx"
4. Hit Soft Reset. Wait ~5s until you see "100/100 APV's synced xxxxxxxxxxx"

In the case where the operation of the power supplies can not be done through EPICS, each power supply can be accessed directly through a terminal. After login into clon10 (see above), the command
> tsconnect hpshv1
will bring up the display for the power supply powering the top SVT volume and
> tsconnect hpshv2
will bring up the display for the power supply powering the bottom volume. After each of the terminal interfaces come up, hitting N (next) will refresh the window. It will also allow you to navigate between screens
