You can also analyze xtc data with the offline tools, and myana and pyana are made for this. But And you also have the option of converting your experiments' xtc files into hdf5 files. hdf5 (hierarchical data format 5) will be the standard offline LCLS data format, and tools are under development for analyzing these files. myana will always run on xtc data only, though.
