We conducted an extensive search for pingable nodes in Somalia. The tool PingER Host SearcherPingER Host Searcher was used with a variety of inputs. We did not find any node registered under the domain .so. The servers -- commercial, non-profit as well as academic websites -- which we did find after a manual search were not hosted within Somalia. The universities in Somalia were also tested but scanned, however all were hosted in countries other than Somalia.
