The Second Workshop on Data Preservation and Long Term Analysis in HEP
will take place from Tuesday 26 - Thursday 28 May 2009 in California, UDAUSA
at the SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory (SLAC).

The workshop will consist of three days of plenary talks, working
group and discussion sessions, where the
main objectives are: to review the physics objectives of data
persistency in HEP; to exchange information on the analysis model
used by HEP experiments; to address the hardware and software
persistency issue; to review the funding programs and other existing
international initiatives; and to converge to a common set of
recommendations for future experiments. We are working towards having
a final report ready in time for Lepton Photon 2009.
