Step 1: a) move the YAG up until we start intercepting the electron beam (left). b) shutter the e-beam and then move the YAG further: find laser (small spot, very much attenuated; plot: peak intensity (after hot spots are removed and a 2x2 Gaussian filter has been applied)
Step 2: a) moved the YAG very much up and drove it in from the side: stopped once we start to intercept the electron beam b) shuttered the electron beam, moved the laser to the YAG c) verified with a horizontal scan where we intercept the laser.
