Beamline Magnet
  • Frascati magnet test tests were successful, achieved 1100 A per coil. Dependence of the field versus current is taken. 
  • Next step is the miniT power supply controls. miniT power supply will not move, will stay where it is.
  • Pair spectrometer power supply will need to move downstream. All magnet and power supply moves are on Doug schedule. Hall B techs will help Krister with cabling the power supplies.
  • Krister will check with Charles Hightower about requirements regarding the power cables in the cables trays.
  • Takashi asked who will control the chicane power supplies. At this point it is Hall B, but it may be necessary to give the control to accelerator operators.
