To start up the GUIs for the slow controls, log into clonusr3 as clas12run (ask expert for password).

  • The top button "IOC Status" gives you a status window for the IOCs, and allows you to reboot them. 
  • "Alarm Handlers" brings up the alarm handlers (currently 4/28/12 not working), the next one 
  • "BEAM", gives a GUI window with two buttons, one for the main class display and one for the injector.
  • "Voltages" button brings up a window with 2 new buttons which give you control of the SVT or ECAL voltages, see descriptions below.
  • "Motors" currently (4/28/12) not working
  • "Strip Charts" not yet working (4/28/12)
  • "DAQ Status" not yet working (4/28/12)
  • "Temperatures" brings up:

    The SVT Temps and ECAL Temps bring up: Image Added Image Added
    Note the "SVT DAQ Heartbeat": if this reads "dead", then the values on the GUI are old and must be ignored. Get these temperatures from the SVT DAQ!
    Two power supplies crates are being used to power the top and bottom volumes of the Silicon VertexTracker (SVT).

To connect to their interfaces, first login into clon10 from a JLab machine with the user name clasrun:
