  • It is of course their prerogative if they are curious, but they should typically receive authorization to make changes therein

Responsibilities of AOSD (Accelerator Operations and Safety Division)

AOSD will verify, using their internal qualifications procedure(s), that:

• Junior operators are able Operators:
  • Have read both the Cavity Summary Display and SRF Auto Setup training pages
  • Have demonstrated the ability to use the Cavity Summary Display to:
    • Understand when a cavity is faulted
    • Pull up the relevant screen(s)
    • Take corrective actions as indicated (this may well be "call experts")
  Junior operators are able
  • Have demonstrated the ability to use SRF Auto Setup to run up cavities
  ,
  • (or as indicated as a corrective action in the cavity summary display) to a qualified junior or senior operator
• Senior operators have a solid Operators:
  • Have been qualified as junior operators as set forth above
  • Have read the Operator Training Articles
  • Have demonstrated an understanding of the concepts put forth in
  the 
  • the Operator Training Articles to a qualified senior operator
