IOC connection to ioc-mec-mot1 as a static route.

Troubleshooting of the slits: (if they are not working please check these things before calling Peregrine or Christian)
  1. If the colors on the typhos screen (the screen that is launched after clicking User Devices→JJ Slits) are green but when you move the motor all of the fields turn red
    1. You have to home all of the axis - to do this click on the expert screen then in the new window scroll down until you see a button labeled cmd_home and click that
    2. It will ask you to confirm homing of the axis and click yes
    3. after all of the axis have been homed you should be able to move it normally
  2. if the screen is all white
    1. check to see if the plc is online
      1. from an mec machine you can run $ ping plc-mec-jj-motion
        1. if that works then you try to restart the ioc - from ioc manager find MEC JJ Slits and click IOC Control→Soft Reboot IOC
      2. if the plc is not pinging then you can go to User Devices→AC PDU→R68 and check to see if the mec jj slits outlet is on
        1. if its not on, then you can turn it on and wait about 10 seconds to see if you can ping it
        2. if the outlet is on and you cant ping it, try turning the outlet on and off and ping again
        3. if after power cycling the outlet and you cant get it to ping then call controls PoC
  3. If none of the steps above worked - contact controls PoC
