To change settings like exposure, check status and reboot cameras:
Main screen → Profile Monitor → LI20 → PYDM All Cameras (big green button)
- To change gain settings, go to Camera... in the Settings column.
- If camera is not responding or died (green light off), press the Reboot button at the far right of the panel
- Sync in 1 in the Trigger column indicates that it receives a beam trigger (in contrast to Freerun)
- Most camera exposures are set to 0.001s to reduce background and to be able to run at 10 Hz.
In some cases, the cameras reset their data format from uint16 to uint8 (8-bit) when they reboot.
This can be found under the Advanced... button and then AD Base and Data Type.
