- Enable LPR by going to ControlPanel->ProgramsAndFeatures->TurnWindowsFeaturesOnOrOff->PrintAndDocumentServices
- Follow directions here (they are for XP but seem to be pretty much the same for windows 7)
- For "port names" use either "suncat-hp4025" or "suncat-hp3015"
Windows XP (Wired)
- After selecting "Add Printer" use "connect to local printer" (this is unintuitive, unfortunately)
- In the next window select "Add Port" and select the TCP/IP port
- Put in the hostname suncat-hp4025.slac.stanford.edu or suncat-hp3015.slac.stanford.edu
HP Copier/Fax/Scanner
There is a black and white LaserJet Pro copier/fax/scanner available. The extension for the fax is x2069. It can scan to email. It does not work with double-sided documents, unfortunately.
