Once pinger2.pl, traceeroutetraceroute.pl and pinger_data.pl have been made IPv6 capable then the package that monitoring hosts need to install will be IPv6 capable.
It would be good to have a test bench, e.g. an IPv6 host on which we can debug the modified applications.

An IPv6 host is ipv6.google.com(2001:4860:800f::68)
You can use use http://www.subnetonline.com/pages/ipv6-network-tools/online-ipv6-ping.php to see if a host is reachable with IPv6.
