The nominal XAL data flow is similar, as shown. Proposals above change this nominal data flow to introduce the idea that twiss and R-matrices be pre-computed and put in the Oracle DB. Additionally Sergei proposes that the box entitled "XAL lattice construction" be based on his program "Relocate".

History Data
At the time of writing it has not been decided which new history data system to use LCLS. The Existing SLC history system is show, and that history data can now be acquired by new applications or matlab through Aida. The nominal EPICS archive protocol stack is given at left. Paul Chu reports that SNS used PVlogger rather than EPICS archiver. The existing SLC history system is show at right; SLC history data can now be acquired by new applications or matlab through Aida.
