Assume PREFIX = RFOF:SYS0:1 for linac locking (RFOF: RF Over Fiber).  Also, another option (instead of RFOF) could be to create a new device type DEV = RXTX (any subsystem that is a a transmitter/receiver pair)?   Other options:

  • PREFIX = PRL:SYS0:2
  • PREFIX = PRL:SYS0:1:RFOF
  • PREFIX = RXTX:SYS0:1
