The small epixHR prototype has 2 fibers of data (lanes 0 and 1) coming from a QSFP.  Timing is on lane 3.

The KCU1500 is the "generic" kcu1500 also used for the wave8, so can use the rogue GUI from that to look at the KCU registers.
