site is of particular interest due to its proximity to the Zaporizhzhya Nuclear Power Plant about 40 miles SW of the Zaporizhzhia National University. On 4 March 2022, as reported by Wikipedia, the nuclear power plant was captured by Russian forces during the battle of Zaporizhzhia of the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine. However, the monitoring did not start until Mar 6 after the Russian forces' attack.
