Von Hamos 16 crystal

This device is also used at XPP. It has 2 main axis:

• Rotation: dumb motor
• Translation: Parker linear stage with its own Beckhoff PLC rail (yes...)

There is also controls for all single crystals, but we generally don't connect those.

Translation stage setup

Because the device is shared with xpp, its IOC runs on the XRT subnet. The IOC is ioc-hxx-vonhamos (alias von Hamos Y motion). The PLC does not have a license (why?) and so it must be refreshed after 7 days. Otherwise it will be impossible to reboot it. Note that if it is left running, the 7 days don't apply. This is done from the PLC programming node. Hopefully a license will be installed soon.
