MULTI step process:

In terminal:

  • takepeds>>takepeds
    • ###(similar to daqcontrol dark of CXI days)
  • WAIT until done
  • >>makepeds makepeds -r <RUN NUMBER where you took peds> -u <UNIX ACCOUNT> -le <EXPERIMENT NAME> -q psfehhiprioq
    • ###use the
    • ###the -l is option to do things "locally" on the fast feedback nodes instead of moving the calculation to other servers
    • can take ~10 minutes
  • on psana, run Philip Hart's extra step:
    source /reg/g/psdm/etc/psconda.sh
    python /cds/home/p/philiph/psana/mfxc00118/mfxlx4219/remapZeroPeds.sh <EXPERIMENT NAME> <RUN NUMBER>
  • Then shutdown and reallocate the daq
