We have processed monitoring products from real on-orbit data (LPA) locally with this version of AlarmsCfg.
Upgrade Procedure
The Commons package doesn't depend on anything and isn't compiled against anything, so in principle it can be updated without installing a new L1Proc. Getting a full L1Proc built, installed and tested is a process that takes several days, and this time we would like to try and upgrade this package only. The xml and L1 builds will not be updated. This L1Proc will be tagged as L1Proc-04-03-01, which technically means it will be a patch.
This specific upgrade cannot be tested in DEV, and therefore will be performed directly in PROD, under close supervision. It must be noted that individual packages in L1Proc have been previously updated with this technique and we never experience problems with this,
Rollback procedure
The package can be rolled back to the previous version by flipping a soft link . Also note that in the config.py file. As just described, the package is completely independent from any other package running in the pipeline and will backing out of this change does not cause a version change of L1Procany inconvenience.
