REMARKS

Note on negative values for UTC times:  Negative UTC times are used to denote observing times starting `the day before`. As example, On 2009/02/21 (MJD 54883) MAGIC Start/Stop UTC times are -00:07 / 01:53. That means that the Observation starts on 2009/02/20 (MJD 54882) at 23:53 and finishes on 2009/02/21 (MJD 54883) at 01:53. This convention is used to keep the single observation in one single row (instead of two) of the Table with the observations.

Remark on MAGIC schedule:  Because of a drive system update, MAGIC will be out of operation in the period April 27th to May 05th (approx.)

Remark on RXTE schedule:  RXTE will perform ~1.5 ks observations (on each single pointing) which have been requested to fall inside the time window specified for each day of the table. So far only days up to May21st have been scheduled. On MJD 54915 there will not be observation in the window from -01:07 to -00:32.

Remark on Swift schedule:  The observations are taken in the framework of a ToO approved by the Swift team (Targed ID 30352). On a best effort basis, the Swift team will try to match dates (and often also observing times) from RXTE observations (which are already coordinated with ground instruments). The start times are obtained from the information reported in the tables at the following URL: http://www.asdc.asi.it/mmia/index.php. For days from May22 to May27th the Swift instrument will be observing Mrk421 several times a day (2 of them close in time to MAGIC and Whipple/VERITAS observing time windows) as part of a new ToO triggered by the flux incrase in optical and TeV frequencies detected by the KVA (GASP program) and MAGIC instruments respectively in the days prior to May 21st.

Remark on Swift UVOT schedule:  For simplicity, only observing times from the Swift/UVOT W2 filter are being displayed.

Remark on MITsuME:  The MITsuME telescope took data with different optical filters (lc, R and g). For simplicity, the table only reports the data taken with the g filter.

Remark on radio observations with Effelsberg and IRAM:  They will be performing observations once every month (tentatively on the 7th).

Remark on missing observations:  Many instruments agreed in participating in this campaign, but they have not yet provided their respective observing schedules. The web page will be updated every time new observations are provided. In the case of some instruments (like Swift), it might be difficult to plan observations at specific times, hence the observing schedule will be updated `a posteriori`. Other instruments (like Suzaku and also Swift) will start observations in the framework of ToO that will be activated when the source is high.
