• Using version 1_8_29_2

• Database is set up in MySQL (4.1.19). Here is a dump of the People table

• Configure directory is: C:\Tony\Projects\CRL

• Set up LogBookConfig.properties

• Installed web app (in C:\Documents and Settings\tonyj\.netbeans\5.5\apache-tomcat-5.5.17_base\webapps\crl)

• Went to http://localhost:8084/crl/Configure.jsp

• Filled in form like so

• Can go to the main page, looks fine: http://localhost:8084/crl/Index.jsp

• All attempts to log in fail.

Questions:

• Is there any evidence the web application actually read my LogBookConfig.properties file and/or connected to the database? Does it keep a log file anywhere?
• Just noticed this message in the catalina.log – it seems to occur the first time attempt to log in

  Could not return open DBMS connection ( Check if DataBase is down ) java.lang.ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException: Array index out of range: 0
