Reason for change

One reason:

  • In XML-RPC mode, when the "max points" parameter is specified, don't download the full history first, realize that the number of points > max points, and then download the stats only. It's a waste of bandwidth. Instead, let the xmlrpc server determine what it has to send, depending on this "max points" parameter (IOT-99@JIRA).

Test Procedure

This version has been tested on the DEV server.

Rollback procedure

Version 2.0.2 could be reinstalled

Details

The proposed release adds 2 improvements:

  • IOT-99@JIRA: in xml-rpc mode, the handling of max_points is transferred from the client side, to the server side. This uses the network bandwidth more intelligently. See the description in SSC-89@JIRA for details.
  • IOT-92@JIRA: when a mnemonic is unknown, instead of reporting a NullPointerException when a trend is to be displayed, display the names of unknown mnemonics.
