The Photon Control and Data Systems (PCDS) group is responsible for providing all the control and data acquisition infrastructure needed by the photon side of the Linac Coherent Light Source (LCLS). This infrastructure covers all the subsystems of the eXperimental End Stations (XES), the X-ray Transport Optics and Diagnostics (XTOD), the LUSI experiments, the Atomic, Molecular and Optical physics Instrument (AMO), and other future instruments.
