This page is for the Accelerator modelling in the SLAC Accelerator system.

At present, for the first 2007 run of LCLS, the modelling system used for online LCLS accelerator applications, will be the the existing online SLC modelling system . During 2007 the plan of the accelerator Applications Software team is to develop a new online modelling system, probably using XAL as the underlying tracking system, and a combination of XAL, Eclipse, and other software at the higher levels. Additionally, we are undertaking a major effort to create an offline, batch-oriented, multiple-particle simulation system, to model the whole machine in detail.
